Introducing the “DAKARA Vending Machine”: A Heatstroke-Prevention Measure Born from Employee Feedback

As part of our efforts to protect employee health, Osaka Blower has introduced a “DAKARA vending machine” aimed at preventing heatstroke.

This initiative was realized through a proposal from our in-house Well-Being Team . The Well-Being Team voluntarily began its activities with the goal of creating, through the efforts of its own members, a workplace environment where employees can work with greater peace of mind and energy.

As summer heat becomes more severe, this measure was introduced with the aim of creating an environment in which all employees, particularly those working in the factory and on-site, can carry out their work with peace of mind. Since its introduction, we have been able to provide each employee with one drink per day, encouraging frequent hydration and helping raise awareness of heatstroke prevention and health management.

We place great value on a workplace environment in which every employee can work with energy. This initiative is a good example of employees themselves recognizing an issue and, through a proposal to the company, turning it into an actual measure. Going forward, we will continue to value the voices of our employees as we promote employee health and well-being and build a workplace where people find their work rewarding.
