Q1：
What led you to join the company?
I first learned about the company through a job listing at my high school. I'd always had a bit of an interest in manufacturing, and when I toured the factory during my interview and saw the various machines in operation, I felt, “I’d like to give this work a try, too.” That’s what led me to decide to join Osaka Blower.
Q2：
Was there any gap between your expectations and reality after joining?
When I joined, there were many senior colleagues who were called craftspeople, so I started by learning everyone's faces and names. A lot of the work had to be learned by watching, so I made a point of asking questions whenever I didn't understand something, learning a little more each day. It could be tough at times, but I feel that it's precisely because of that experience that I am who I am today.
Q3：
What do you find rewarding about your work?
Currently, I machine parts used in auxiliary blowers for marine engines. Blowers are important equipment that support a ship's operation, and if any trouble were to occur, it could also affect the ship's operation. I approach each task with an awareness of the weight of that responsibility. Feeling that my work supports the safe operation of ships is what makes this job so rewarding.

Do you have a message for job seekers?
Osaka Blower is a company that, alongside its focus on environmental initiatives with an eye on the future, continues to grow not only within Japan but around the world. I feel that being able to contribute to society through manufacturing is a major appeal of this job. We are also all taking on the company's dream of becoming a "second Shitamachi Rocket," together. I hope you'll join us in turning that dream into reality.
